Gordon J. Reykdal, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Gordon Reykdal founded Cash Store Financial (formerly Rentcash Inc.) in February 2001 to satisfy a market gap for alternative financial services in Canada. He was Founder, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of RTO Enterprises Inc. (now Easyhome) from 1991 to 2001. Gordon currently holds the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cash Store Financial.

Nancy Bland, Chief Financial Officer

Nancy Bland joined Cash Store Financial in March of 2006 as the company’s Vice President of Finance. She was appointed Chief Financial Officer in October 2007. Previously, Nancy held positions with Capital Health, Luscar Ltd., Northwest Territories Power Corporation, and Grant Thornton Chartered Accountants.

In addition to holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, Nancy is also a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor.

Barret J. Reykdal, President and Chief Operating Officer

Barret Reykdal was one of the first associates to join Cash Store Financial in 2001. He was responsible for launching and managing operations of many of the Company’s inaugural branches. Barret went on to become Regional Manager for Northern Alberta and then Vice President of Western Canada. Prior to joining Cash Store Financial, he was distribution manager for RTO Enterprises and was owner and operator of two Insta-Rent locations.

In 2006, Barret was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer.

Michael Thompson, Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary

Michael joined Cash Store Financial in November 2006, as Vice President Investor Relations and Government Affairs, and was appointed Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary in February 2008.  He is the former President of The Canadian Payday Loan Association (CPLA).  In that role, he was instrumental in securing the federal legislation that enabled provincial regulation of the payday loan industry.
 
Michael has been an advisor on economic matters to associations and private companies in a variety of sectors, including financial services.  He spent two years as Economic Policy Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada.  He holds an M.A. in Political Science.

Bill Johnson, Senior Executive Vice President

Bill was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Insta-rent, the furniture rental division of Cash Store Financial (formerly Rentcash Inc.). In April 2008, the rental division was successfully spun-out of Cash Store Financial and became its own publicly-traded Company on the Toronto Venture Exchange.  Previously, from January 1996 to March 2006, Bill was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of easyhome Ltd., the largest merchandise rental organization in Canada.  Bill has over thirty-five years of financial and business management experience including over twenty-one years with Coopers & Lybrand, now PricewaterhouseCoopers. Bill holds a Bachelor of Economics degree and is a Chartered Accountant.
 
In November 2008 after a friendly take-over of Insta-rent by easyhome Ltd., Bill was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of Cash Store Financial.
